It had to send tributes, silver trees, and gold trees, to Siam once every 3 years. 🏰The Palace of the Lord of Yaring was built during the reign of King Rama V by Phraya Phiphit Sena Amatayathibodi Srisurasongkhram, the 3rd Lord of Yaring, around 1895. It is a two-story building, half brick, half wood, in the shape of the letter U. 🏰He hired Chinese craftsmen from Bangkok to build it. The carvings inside the palace are Javanese patterns by craftsmen from Indonesia. The architecture of the palace was inspired by 3 styles: Malay, Javanese, and European. 🏰The upper floor is made of golden teak wood. It is divided into a large hall. The skylight is decorated with bright colored glass. The ventilation shaft and the gable are made of carved wood. It is the residence of the Lord and his children and the office of the Lord for judging cases and receiving guests. 🏰The ground floor is made of cement. There is an open space. Under the high building, it is the residence of relatives and servants. 🏰There are European-style curved stairs leading up to the upper balcony on both sides. From the balcony, there is a door opening to a large hall, similar to a royal audience hall. 🏡The surrounding area is surrounded by shady trees that are over 100 years old. 🏡At present, Wang Yaring is still the residence of the heirs who take good care of the palace.
