Opera De Paris Garnier 🇫🇷

#paristrip With a lifetime interest in both opera and architecture, I really wanted to experience attending a show in this landmark in the history of both art forms. After reading many reviews from visitors who were disappointed in their seats, I decided to go to the break and get the best seats available. Ordered online once individual tickets go up for sale (as usual, season subscribers get the best seats). We sat in the first part, square 19, seats 1 and 2. We were very happy with our look at the stage and the amazing hall (photos attached). I doubt the people behind us in seats 3 and 4 have a good visual experience, but their musical experience would have been the same. The acoustics in the hall are great - a warm, enveloped sound. This is likely to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me, so I have no regrets about spending the big cost of tickets. But I resented having to pay an extra $10 for a program — a courtesy that extends American places globally to their customers. Tourist attractions in Paris, such as museums. They have rooms with pieces of art, so if you’re an art enthusiast, you should make time for yourself for that too. Neither me nor my husband are art enthusiasts but we wanted to see architecture. It took us less than an hour to walk, explore and take pictures. I wish we came early to avoid the crowds, so if you visit, that's what I recommend.
