Explore the eighteen whirlpools left to us from the glacial period

When it comes to the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions, many tourists might think of little bridges over flowing streams as their hallmark. However, the mountains and waters of this area are also exceptionally beautiful. Steep cliffs stand tall on both sides of the stream, the brook winds, and the water flows rapidly, creating a series of dangerous whirlpools and deep pools, hence the name Jiaxi eighteen whirlpools. ☑️On rainy days when the water flow is abundant, the water will rush down through the eighteen pools in the valley, wave after wave, stirring up a great commotion, which is particularly spectacular. ☑️There is also an ancient Jiaxi trail in the scenic area, which has been a strategic location contested by military forces during the long feudal dynasties. The trail was repaired in the late Ming and Qing dynasties, allowing us to see the well-preserved ancient path. Nowadays, many Hengdian film and television dramas come here for shooting, full of ancient charm.
