Cheporsan Valley, Gojal, Hunza, Pakistan

Cheporsan valley is situated in Gojal tehsil of district Hunza. This trip was one of my long-awaited and blessed trips to Gojal Hunza. cheporsan Valley borders Afghanistan and China. the valley rises to an elevation of more than 11000 feet and ends at the Irshad Pass which links to Afghanistan via the Wakhan. Cheporsan Valley hosts over 500 households with 5000 population. its villages include Yarzerich, Raminj, Kirmin, Kil, Reshit, Sher e Sabz, Ispanj, Shitmerg, and Zood khon. The majority of the people in the valley speak Wakhi while some can speak and understand Brushashki. The prominence of the Chiporsan valley is because of the Shrine of Baba Ghundi (Baba Ghundi Ziarat) a Sufi saint who came from a place know as Ghund of Northern Afghanistan and brought Islam to the people of cheporsan valley. This beautiful, and Blessed Valley can be visited all over the year but the best time to visit is April to September. Visit during the winter ❄️ is not recommended because of harsh cold weather and snowfall. It takes about 2 hours drive from sust bazaar Karakoram highway to reach the valley and to the shrine, it takes 2 more hours. #roadtrip#summervacation#hikingtrails
