Old Ubosot of "Wat Ku" Mon art from 1752

#VisitHistoricalSite #100WaysToVisit 🍀 If you enter “Wat Ku”, you will find the “Old Ubosot” building, which is an important historical site. It is an Ubosot built since the late Ayutthaya period, B.E. 2295, in the “Mon” art style. The Fine Arts Department announced the registration as an ancient site on January 13, B.E. 2541. 🍂 Outstanding features: - The door and window arches are beautifully decorated with vine patterns. - The base of the Ubosot is a curved base like a junk. - The principal Buddha image is a stucco Buddha image covered with gold lacquer, from the walls between the windows and up to the ceiling. - The wall covering the drum behind the principal Buddha image shows a painting inside the Ubosot, painting the entire wall on all 4 sides. The paintings are Mon art and history (all the paintings are damaged in many places, blurred and have a lot of dust, so they are not clear).
