There are 3 pools here: a large pool, a children's pool, and a whirlpool where you can float around with an inflatable ring. The hotel's atmosphere is beautiful, with buildings resembling those in Europe, flowers, and green gardens surrounding the hotel. The breakfast is very delicious.

If you're visiting Khao Yai and looking for a place to enjoy a delicious dinner with a great atmosphere, perfect for dining with a loved one or family, I highly recommend Lacol Dome. Located within the Lacol Khaoyai Hotel, this glass dome restaurant has only four domes available. If you miss out on the domes, there are also regular tables available. The sunset view in the evening is stunning. The restaurant offers both à la carte and set course meals. The presentation of the food is beautiful, and the taste is delightful. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Toscana Valley is not far, just in Khao Yai.

Today, I would like to introduce an accommodation in Khao Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, not far from Bangkok. Especially during the rainy season, the weather is cool and refreshing. I recommend Toscana Valley Hotel, a hotel built with architecture that transforms it into Italy. For those who want a serious relaxation, I highly recommend it. The atmosphere is quiet, peaceful, cool, and refreshing. The hotel has a very large area, so you don't need to go out because there are cafes and restaurants all in one place. There are activities like cycling, golfing, and six swimming pools. It is suitable for family and friends' trips. This time, I booked a room in the La Casetta zone, a loft-style room that can accommodate 4 people with breakfast included. The room is very spacious, with stairs leading to a mezzanine where the bed is located. The most impressive thing is the bed, which is very comfortable, soft, and provides a good night's sleep without back pain, making you not want to get up. For breakfast, I initially thought it would be all European style, but the Thai food was very delicious. It was a very good breakfast with options like sticky rice with banana, omelets, and cheese boards. The staff service is excellent, friendly, and cheerful. Since the hotel has various points that are quite far apart, there are free shuttle vans available. Overall, I really like this place. It's peaceful and not crowded, suitable for all ages, whether children, adults, couples, or families. There are many photo spots. If you are looking for a place to stay in Khao Yai, I highly recommend it.

Farm and Wine at Pak Chong (Khao Yai)

Pak Chong is a town next to Khao Yai mountain. Chok Chai Farm is a place for children and adults to go and play with the animals there. You can buy some grass there to feed the animals. There is no entrance fee. The animals roam freely. There is also a garden where there are lots of flowers. Beside the farm, there is also a Steakhouse and a few other shops. From Chok Chai you can go to visit winery at Khao Yai which is not very far. There are a few wineries in Khao Yai, I chose Gran Monte. Can join the winery guided tour where the tram will bring you around the vineyard and how they make the wine.

A place for VINTAGE LOVERS

A place at Khao Yai you must definitely visit - BAN MAI CHAY NAM: A riverside restaurant, museum & hotel in one. Patrons will be fascinated the minute they step foot on this old playground. There’s a variety of childhood toys, antique wears and furniture that remind us of our growing up years. At last we arrived at the restaurant by the lake for our dinner and I still hadn’t gotten enough of those vintage collections. Local food served was slightly pricey but scrumptious. I guess the lake view and ambience made it up😊 What fascinated me the most was the bridge leading to a hotel resembling one of those prewar shophouses. It’s definitely a nostalgic walk down memory lane like it was yesterday once more!

Visit Italy - In Thailand!

One of my most memorable travel moments in 2022 was walking around in Primo Piazza located in Khao Yai. It feels like I was walking through a small town in Italy instead of Pak Chong, a mountainous region in Thailand. Primo Piazza is a recreation of a Italian town with cobblestone streets, well manicured gardens and even a barn with farm animals. My toddler had a ball of a time feeding the alpacas in the barn. A farm animal that we seldom see. Amenities are plenty with clean toilets that resemble those in a country home and a store selling drinks and ice cream. Seeing the big smiles and laughter from my child warmth my heart. I would love to take a trip to the real Tuscan village with my family next year! #2023travelwish

Jump Right into This Hidden Spring

Thailand is known for its affordable massages and spa but little is known about their hidden gems like this natural occurring spring in Pak Chong, Khao Yai. Ban Tha Chang spring is located near to the famous Khao Yai National Park with clear, natural crystal blue water. The spring emerges natural from the ground and filtered by rocks in the area with high calcium carbonate content. Entry is free. We came here during our road trip through Khao Yai and was blown away by how clear and blue the water was. It was a weekend and the place was swarming with locals having a swim and picnic. Little tourists were in sight. Many street vendors line the street selling all sorts of Thai street food you can imagine. Bonus part? Ample clean showers and toilets are available. What a hidden gem this place is. If you are around this area, be sure to pack your swimmers and go straight into the waters for a relaxing time. Afternoon Tea @ The castle restaurant

#afternoontea The Castle Restaurant and Tearoom is located in Thames Valley Khao Yai. We did not stay at Thames Valley, we visited the castle restaurant for our afternoon tea. We ordered a ham and cheese croissant, a tub of french fries, 2 beverages and hot chocolate lava cake. The food was great and we are able to enjoy the garden view. a bit disappointing for the tour, just a very cliche introduction about the place, thought it will be more about the vines and different kinda grapes. also it is a bilingual tour in thai n eng, so the time for communications is even less, the wine tasting is good though #khaoyai

Blooming Flowers at The Bloom

In Singapore, when we want to see some floral and fauna, we head down to botanical gardens. In Khao Yai Thailand, when we want to see pretty flowers, we head to The Bloom. The bloom is a huge floral garden in the Pak Chong area. The garden is spacious and filled with all sorts of beautiful and colourful flowers. Seeing those pretty flowers just makes you smile and makes your day brighter. Within the garden, there is also a sunflower field. The sunflowers are in full bloom and best for taking pictures with. How often do you chance upon a sunflower field? I know in Singapore we don't have such a privilege as our weather is too hot for sunflowers to even grow. For the kids, there are some goats for them to feed. This is probably their favourite section as they get to interact with the animals. #celebratewithtrip

Vintage Toy Museum - Ban Mai Chay Nam

In Khao Yai Pak Chong area, there is a vintage Toy Museum with a very interesting concept. It is a waterside restaurant where you can dine beside a river, it is a hostel, and it is also a Toy Museum as mentioned earlier. What is this place, you may ask. Well, it is called Ban Mai Chay Nam. If you do wish to dine at the restaurant or stay at their hostel, you can simply head inside Ban Mai Chay Nam to take pictures in their quirky Toy Museum. Most items are vintage and you can find a batman statue, KFC colonel is in there too, and most can identify with a Marilyn Monroe statue. You can expect to see some vintage cars and a Vespa motorbike and of course tons of old school toys with characters from movies and cartoons. Chokchai Farm in Khao Yai

When overseas, I always welcome the idea of bringing my kids to the farms because the kids can learn so much about the farm animals while interacting with them. Farm Chokchai is one of Asia's largest dairy farms and it has received multi awards in Thailand for being the best farm. The farm is located in Pak Chong, Khao Yai, a few hours drive away from Bangkok. On the farm, tourists are on a guided tour and we are shown around the farm. We get to have a glimpse of how milk and ice cream is being produced and I got my hands on milking a cow. There is a cowboy show, tractor ride and even pony rides for kids. It was a great family experience at Chokchai Farm! #celebratewithtrip

Khao Yai Art Musuem is a private musuem that is open to the public for viewing which not only includes outdoor art sculptures but also indoor art sculptures and wall art donated or bought which is being showcased indoor. Although this may be a free musuem, but its loaded with hundred over paintings and sculptures thruout the 1,700 hectares of art space. Outdoor Art Sculptures at Khao Yai Museum

Khao Yai Art musuem is one of a kind musuem which has sculptures located outside of the musuem. Located at 203 Moo 16, Ban Tha Chang, Soi 6, Thanarat Road Pak Chong, this is an approximately 3 hours drive up north from the capital of Bangkok. This art musuem is a mix of contemporary arts and a twist of Thai culture into it, it is also said that this is actually a private musuem run by Mr. Pongchai Chindasuk, a business owner. Hokkaido Flower Park @ Khao Yai

Located on the main road. One of the famous flower garden. It is a large flower garden in the background surrounding mountains. If you are a photo taken lover with amongst flowers, you should visit here! The flowers are in full bloom now, purple verbena, Chrysanthemum flowers and silosia red. Little Italy in Thailand @ Primo Piazza

Very nice and beautiful place. Nice Cafe and relaxing place. Italian style decoration. Kids will enjoy the feeding of the animals like Merino, Alpaca and Donkey. Entry is at 200 Baht. The Piazza is well kept, but just too hot to walk around to really enjoy the place. This is also the place where I've seen Alpaca for the very first time. They are so adorable and you could feed them. It will be a good activities for the kids actually. One of the locations where you can spend up to an hour on taking nice pictures, having a snack, and simply just having a break and taking in the scenery. #thailand #girlstrip #khaoyai

1st Experience Thai Winery @PB Valley Khaoyai

We had the wine tour cost 350 thai baht in PB Valley Khaoyai Winery. There are 4 time slots for the vineyard tour daily, it’s about an hour. It included a visit to the vineyard to see grapes, next to the winery where they make the wine and lastly the tasting. We saw the black opal grapes, not the ones that are used for wine. It’s very beautiful. The winery had a very strong wine smell, huge vats used to make wine. We tasted 3 types of wine at the end. Place is very well kept and very clean. Toilets are 👍👍.
