The Peri Hotel Khao Yai

We visited Khao Yai, which is said to have the best air quality in Thailand. Today, we are staying at 'The Peri Hotel Khao Yai'. Location: The location is perfect for those who enjoy quiet and peaceful accommodations with a great atmosphere. It is not far from Khao Yai National Park, just a 20-minute drive from the hotel. The hotel is easily accessible from the main road, but you might need to bring your own food and supplies. The hotel is a low-rise building surrounded by mountains and plenty of trees, making the atmosphere very pleasant, cool, and peaceful. I give this part a 10/10. Room: I stayed in a Corner King with Garden View room, which has a single bed and a garden view. The balcony is at the same level as the trees, allowing you to feel close to nature. However, the cleanliness needs improvement. The room had a lot of dust and cobwebs next to the bed. Although I informed the front office and housekeeping cleaned the room, some cobwebs remained. The room size is reasonable, not too big or small, but as it is a connecting room, you can hear the noise from the adjacent room clearly. I give this part a 6/10. Food & Beverage: The food was average, neither too much nor too little. Some guests mentioned that the food portions were small, but I found it acceptable. The food is simple, and the fresh vegetable salad is a must-try. The bakery selection is decent, and the food tastes normal. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, and I recommend sitting outside (but bring a jacket as it can be quite cold in the morning). I didn't use the 'Saow Baan' restaurant, so I have no review for that. I give this part a 6/10. Hotel Facilities: The facilities are quite good. The swimming pool is surrounded by trees, making it feel like you are swimming in a forest. The poolside area is great for relaxing, reading, listening to music, or watching movies. There is a seating area by the pond for daytime lounging and stargazing at night. This is perfect for those who prefer to stay in the hotel and enjoy nature. There are also bicycles and a fitness center for those who like to exercise. I give this part an 8/10. One thing that needs improvement is the operation planning. On the day I stayed, I went to Khao Yai in the late morning and returned in the afternoon, only to find staff cleaning the corridor floor in front of my room. This should not be done when guests are around, as it can be dangerous if someone slips and falls. I had to walk carefully on the wet floor to avoid slipping. For those planning to visit Khao Yai and looking for a private, nature-close, quiet, and peaceful accommodation, I recommend this place as an option.
