Pai Walking Street

Pai Walking Street started when hill tribes and locals in Pai District brought local products and souvenirs to sell to foreign tourists from small stalls. Later, more and more vendors came to reserve space to sell until it became Pai Walking Street. The Pai District authorities therefore cooperated in closing Chaisongkhram Road from the Pai District Office to the Pai River. Traffic was closed, causing both sides of the road to be filled with many shops. This allowed tourists to choose to buy souvenirs such as clothes, pictures, postcards, as well as restaurants and various entertainment venues on this road.
