Tha Pai Hot Springs

Tha Pai Hot Springs is a hidden gem nestled amidst teak forests, discovered during World War II. It has since become a significant tourist attraction within Huai Nam Dang National Park. Visitors can walk approximately 300 meters to see the spring source, which is small but amazing. The water temperature at the source is 80 degrees Celsius, gradually cooling as it flows down to mix with a cold stream, resulting in a pool temperature of around 34-40 degrees Celsius. There are camping areas nearby, but you need to contact the park officials in advance. Alternatively, you can book private accommodations for a more secluded experience. The highlight activities include boiling eggs onsen-style, timing it so the yolk is slightly runny for a more flavorful taste compared to regular boiling. You can also soak in the natural hot spring pools, but you need to bring your own clothes and towels. There are restrooms and changing rooms available.
