Harry Potter Journey | The real Hogwarts, Christchurch

📍Oxford University Christ Church Christ Church is said to be the most famous college at Oxford University. The reason for this is its history and tradition, but I think one of the biggest reasons is that it was used as a filming location for Harry Potter. [See "that dining hall" and "that staircase" with your own eyes] The main attraction is probably "that dining hall"? The dining hall at Hogwarts that everyone knows. Please note that it is not open to the public during lunch (11:45am - 2pm) as it is used by students. Just before that is "that staircase," which has been used since the Philosopher's Stone, where Professor McGonagall greets Harry and the other first-year students. There are many other spots in Christ Church that are reminiscent of Harry Potter. You can see the large church with beautiful stained glass in every corner. There is also a water basin like a pensieve along the way. (The Pensieve appears in the Goblet of Fire.) There are corridors that Harry and his friends would have walked through, and even a statue that looks almost like Headless Nick. There are a few things to keep in mind when visiting. Because it is a university, you may not be able to visit during student events or due to school circumstances. Be sure to check the official website.
