Heather is in Full Bloom at The Veluwe

#europetrip #vianasjourney #awesomepic The Veluwe features many different landscapes, including hills, woodland, heath, and some small lakes. It is the largest national park that I have been to so far in The Netherlands which also offer free entrance for walking, cycling and horse riding. I especially enjoy walking around the park in summer (around August) because of the heather flower is in full bloom. The view surrounding is especially mesmerising during this period. Apart from wild horses, and deer, Scottish Highland cattle can sometimes be seen around in the wild.
