Climb Mt. Hiei to see the distant view and visit the ancient temple

#forest I originally planned to climb Mount Hiei, but it started raining when I went out. As I was not familiar with the mountain road conditions of Mount Hiei, there happened to be a bus at Jingdong Station that went directly to the top of the mountain, so I took the bus and set off immediately. As soon as we entered Mount Hiei, we saw dense and towering trees blocking out the sun, and the car climbed through the forest. Get off at Enryakuji Temple, which is hidden in the forest. Mount Hiei is a sacred mountain in the eyes of the Japanese, and the thousand-year-old Enryakuji Temple attracts many believers and tourists and is listed as a World Cultural Heritage. Despite the heavy rain, local people still came to worship in an endless stream. Temples such as the Manjusri Tower have a heavy sense of history, and the national treasure Genbon Hall is under repair. The good fortune bell costs 100 yen to ring once, so I rang it once too. After coming out of Enryakuji Temple, we headed straight to the top of the mountain (if you don’t want to climb the mountain, you can take a car). When we reached the top of the mountain, the rain had stopped, but the whole mountain was shrouded in rain and fog. When the clouds gradually dissipated, all of a sudden you would feel that all the mountains were small. The entire Kyoto area is in sight, with the magnificence of Lake Biwa, the grandeur of the Omi Bridge, the depth of the dark green forest...all of these make it hard to leave.
