I went to an observation deck where you can see the magnificent scenery of Tokachi

Tokachi Ranch has a 1.3km birch tree-lined street that was used as a filming location for the TV drama, as well as a ranch observation deck that you can freely visit. The observation deck is on high ground within the ranch, and from there you can enjoy views of the southern foot of the Daisetsu mountain range and the Shikaribetsu mountains to the north, and the Hidaka mountain range and Tokachi Plain to the west. If you're lucky, you might even see the grazing horses. There is no shop or restrooms, so be sure to use them beforehand.
