The Nobel Peace Center was established in June 2005 to promote world peace and raise awareness of war and conflict resolution. The center is located on the site of the old Oslo train station. Every year on December 10th, the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded here. Visitors can learn about all the Nobel Peace Prize winners from 1901 to the present day, as well as the life of Alfred Nobel.
