Osaka is packed with fun, delicious food, and adorable attractions that will make you fall in love from the very first step. ⸻ Day 1: Exploring Dotonbori, the district of lights and mouthwatering food After landing at Kansai Airport, Boom headed straight into the city! The first destination was Dotonbori, a famous area known for its bright neon lights and delicious local Osaka cuisine. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by the iconic red Glico sign and the lively crowd passing by—it was so charming! Of course, I couldn't miss trying "Takoyaki," the hot, crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside octopus balls that are a signature dish of this city. They were so delicious that I couldn't help but smile while eating them, as if I was enchanted by their flavor. I also tried "Okonomiyaki," a savory pancake made with vegetables and a special sauce that felt like authentic Japanese home cooking. Strolling along the Dotonbori River and its cute bridges was an absolute delight. ⸻ Day 2: Fresh vibes at Kuromon Market, packed with fresh goodies! The next morning, Boom visited Kuromon Market, a bustling fresh market filled with everything from sashimi, sweet shrimp, and scallops to vibrant fresh fruits. What I loved most was that every shop offered samples, making it feel like walking through a food amusement park. The vendors were incredibly kind and friendly, recommending lots of must-try items. I tried fresh sushi with firm, flavorful sashimi—it was so good that I couldn't help but smile. This trendy shopping district is filled with fashion items and unique finds. I strolled around, picking up cute souvenirs and enjoying the abundance of cozy cafes. Pairing Japanese sweets with hot green tea in such a lovely atmosphere was pure bliss. As I wandered further, I discovered stylish clothing stores and Japanese cosmetics that I absolutely adored. The park offers a variety of zones, including the Harry Potter area, which left me in awe—it felt like stepping into a magical world. I tried the sweet and creamy Butterbeer and enjoyed thrilling rides nonstop. It made me feel like a kid again, having so much fun that I lost track of time. There's also the Mario Kart zone, which had me laughing endlessly, and adorable souvenir shops to explore. ⸻ Day 5: Visiting Osaka Castle and learning about history On the fifth day, Boom visited Osaka Castle, the iconic landmark of the city.
