Encountering the romance of the deep sea at Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan

It takes less than half an hour to reach Osaka Port by subway from the center of Osaka. As soon as I got off the subway, I could smell the salty sea breeze and my mood became inexplicably light. When we walked to the beach, the huge building that looked like a cruise ship in front of us was the Aquarium KAIYUKAN that I was most looking forward to on this trip. It looked like it would set sail at any time, and it felt like a movie. As soon as you walk in, it's like falling into the underwater world. There are bright blue aquariums all around, and fish are swimming around as if dancing in front of you. What shocked me the most was the giant "Pacific Ocean" tank that runs through the entire venue. It is nine meters high and is said to contain 5,400 tons of seawater. A huge whale shark swam slowly past me. It was really graceful, and there was an overwhelming sense of tranquility in that slow motion. The manta ray is super cute. It will suddenly turn over to let you see its belly, as if saying hello to you. The sardines circle in groups, shining silver, which makes me dizzy. In addition to the main tank of the Pacific Ocean, there are fifteen exhibition areas with different themes, which I think are very carefully designed. There is a "Japanese Forest" exhibition area, where there are even little otters playing in the water, so cute; there is a whole group of penguins in the "Antarctic Continent", swaying around like little kids in suits; and there is the "Coral Reef", which is full of colorful tropical fish, like walking into a cartoon. The Kaiyukan is not just a place to take photos and check in, you can also learn a lot of little knowledge about the ocean. I tried touching a starfish and a sea urchin, and it turns out the touches are completely different, it's amazing. Moreover, some interactive devices are the kind that even adults can play with very enthusiastically, so there is no need to worry about being bored. I went there on weekdays in the afternoons, so there weren't many people and I could take my time to look around and take pictures.
