Imperial Hotel Osaka: Experience old-school luxury and great views of the Okawa River

#MarchGoodPlaces2025 My first experience staying at the Imperial Hotel Osaka! Because I was visiting the Osaka Mint, I directly chose the Imperial Hotel next to it. Like Tokyo, it is an old five-star hotel with a classical and grand style. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are well maintained. They are very retro and elegant, very clean and bright, and the Japanese service makes you feel at home. The experience is great. The most basic standard double room is about 30 square meters in size and costs about NT$7,000 excluding breakfast on weekdays. Breakfast for one person costs an additional NT$1,000, which is a bit expensive. The Imperial Hotel is located on a high floor, so the view is excellent. You can see the river and the city, which is very comfortable. Although the hotel is not in the center of Osaka, it provides free shuttle service. It is about a 15-minute drive from JR Osaka Station. You can also take the JR to Sakuranomiya Station and walk for about 5 minutes. You can also enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Usually, these old-fashioned five-star hotels are located in places with beautiful mountains and rivers, which is why they have such beautiful views.
