There were many different kinds of cherry blossoms in bloom and it was very beautiful. Ticket reservations are required in advance, but because of that it wasn't too crowded and you could take your time looking around at the cherry blossoms. There were also many food stalls near the Mint Bureau, with a wide variety of stalls selling things like turban shells, grilled seafood, oden and yakisoba. Even after the cherry blossoms in Osaka have fallen, the cherry blossoms at the Mint Bureau are of various kinds and many flowers are still in bloom, so I recommend it.
