A visit to Shirakawa-go in Spring

#wecreate A UNESCO World Heritage site in Gifu, Japan, the Japanese village is known for their traditional Gassho-zukuri houses amidst the mountains and greenery and the traditional rural village feel. A total of over 100 of such houses are in the Ogimachi village and many of the houses are still lived by the locals, and some converted to restaurants, cafes, and souvenir stores. Do leave at least around 2 to 3 hours to walk around the village, including visiting the Ogimachi Observatory for a view of the village.
