[Mt. Mitake] Hiking

Mount Mitake, 929m above sea level, is located in Ome City, Tokyo. It is also called Mount Musashi Mitake and has been the subject of mountain worship since ancient times, with Musashi Mitake Shrine built on the mountaintop. You can take a cable car from the foot of the mountain to the starting point of the hiking course, but if the parking lot at the cable car station is full, you can only park a little further away, and it was quite a steep uphill walk from there to the cable car station lol There are several hiking trails, some of which are easy and take about an hour to go around, while others take 3-4 hours and involve quite a lot of climbing up and down cliffs, making it a hiking trail that can be enjoyed by both amateurs and serious hikers.
