In summer, there is no ice on the lake and you can't drive, so you have to get on a shuttle boat. The boat ride is about 15 minutes, and then an hour’s drive (all dirt roads!), The old ones with crispy bones really can't stand it 😅 Olkhon Island is a holy place for Russian shamanism.
