Just imagine, under the clear blue sky of the Namcha Barwa peak, by the rushing Yarlung Tsangpo River, the peach blossoms of Nyingchi are so splendidly colorful, spreading across the mountains and fields, striking your soul with the most primitive and dazzling beauty! 😍 Moreover, the beauty of Nyingchi is so bold and magnificent: glaciers, snow mountains, sand dunes, forests, river valleys, and countless cultural charms, Nyingchi is definitely a place you must visit this coming spring! Want to know the best time to visit? 1. The blooming period of Nyingchi's peach blossoms is generally from March to April each year, with sporadic peach blossoms blooming against the cold wind in early March, and a large-scale bloom by the end of March. 2. The viewing spots for Nyingchi's peach blossoms are not just one or two places, but are scattered across a vast area, so the blooming period varies slightly from region to region. 3. I went there at the end of March, and I saw peach blossoms in different states in different areas, which was definitely a good time! 😎 Where to see the peach blossoms? 📍 Gala Peach Blossom Village: The main venue for the 'Peach Blossom Festival' in Nyingchi, closest to the city center. 📍 Bomi Peach Blossom Valley: A 5-hour drive from Nyingchi city center, it is the area with the most concentrated peach blossoms in Bomi County. The 318 National Road from Nyingchi to Bomi is super beautiful, don't miss it! A separate travel guide for Bomi will be released later. 📍 Suosong Village: A hidden gem in the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon, also the best spot to view the Namcha Barwa peak (location of the cover photo). 📍 Along the 318 Highway: There are also many sporadic peach blossoms, surprises everywhere! 😃 How to get to Nyingchi? There are mainly three ways to reach Nyingchi: 4. Fly directly to Nyingchi. Nyingchi has an airport, and you can choose to fly directly from places like Chengdu and Chongqing, which is the most relaxed way; after arriving in Nyingchi, you can rent a car or drive yourself to tour the Nyingchi loop. 5. First get to Lhasa, then take the highway/railway to Nyingchi, about 4 hours by high-speed train. 6. 【Highly recommended‼️】 Enter Tibet via the G318 Sichuan-Tibet Highway or the G214 Yunnan-Tibet Highway, play all the way to Nyingchi, and finally arrive in Lhasa. That's the route I took, renting a car from Lijiang and spending 9 days to reach Lhasa, with stunning scenery along the way. Plus, March is the last window before the rainy season, so the snow-capped mountains are clearly visible, and it's off-season with fewer people, so I highly recommend this way!
