[Shizuoka] Numazu, a seafood town with a view of Mt. Fuji

#Spring0yentrip Numazu is a town located on the coast of Shizuoka Prefecture, rich in nature and seafood. The first place we visited was Numazu Port. The area around the port is full of life, with markets and restaurants where you can enjoy fresh seafood on the spot, and the seafood bowls were especially delicious. In Numazu, we were able to board a sightseeing boat and spend a relaxing time looking at the beautiful sea of ​​Suruga Bay and Mt. Fuji in the distance. From the boat, we could look out over the coastline and small islands offshore, feel the refreshing sea breeze, and the explanations by the local guide were interesting. In addition, at the Numazu Port Deep Sea Aquarium, we were able to touch deep-sea creatures and the unique exhibits were interesting. Numazu is also a place where you can see Mt. Fuji in its entirety, and on a clear day the view was spectacular. At Numazu Imperial Villa Memorial Park, we enjoyed the historical buildings and gardens that Emperor Showa visited, and spent a relaxing time. Numazu was an attractive town with a good balance of seafood, nature, and historical spots.
