Magnificent ancestral temple in George Town

#malaysia Boon San Tong Khoo Kongsi (文山堂邱公司) Location: 117A, Leboh Victoria, Georgetown, 10300 George Town, Penang, not far from the Chew Jetty and Penag Street Art. This Chinese Hokkien ancestral temple was established in 1907 by a branch of the Leong San Tong Khoo Kongsi. Nowadays, it is a historic & protected site, social club and historical museum. Beside that, a nice cafe is within it. Main features: The magnificent architecture, especially the details such as elaborate carving on pillars and walls, intricate embellishments on the beams, plus the exquisite sculptures & colourful ornaments on the roof.
