It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Sheung Shui MTR Station to Sheung Shui Wai Village, which is not too far. Although Sheung Shui Wai's paths are intricately intertwined, there are actually many places worth careful visit. For example, there are Liao Mingde Hall and Liao Wanshi Hall, which are hidden among residential houses and are not easy to find. However, they are ancestral halls of the Liao family. They are among the few well-preserved old-style buildings on the list of antiquities and are rich in historical information. There are also plaques of honor on the walls. There is also a very famous coffee shop in the village. The surrounding environment is comfortable and there are potted plants everywhere. It feels healing.
