Ancient site "Wat Pleng" (abandoned)

🛕Historical site "Wat Phleng" (abandoned) 📌It is an abandoned temple located on the bank of Wat Sak Yai Canal, Nonthaburi Province. It is currently an abandoned temple in the middle of a fruit orchard. There is a large church made of brick and mortar. 🧱It is decorated with beautiful stucco patterns. Some are broken and crumbling according to the condition. This temple has history and art from the Ayutthaya period. 💠 🙏The principal Buddha image in the chapel is Luang Pho To, an ancient Buddha image made of red sandstone inside. It is covered with cement and gold lacquer. 🎐 It is a Buddha image in the U Thong art style. Originally, Wat Thong Phleng was beautifully gilded throughout.
