Outdoor farmers’ market

Located right outside Four Points Hotel by Sheraton, this farmers’ market stretches for quite a distance on a wide road. We were first drawn to it by the tents set up and the bustling atmosphere, so we decided to check it out. They sell all sorts of produce here, from chillies to vegetables to spices like turmeric and ginger. In addition, there are also stalls selling clothes and other knick knacks such as batteries, pots and pans. It was quite an experience but do remember to keep your items close to you as we warned by the locals. Avoid carrying anything too easy to snatch and empty your pockets just in case there are pickpockets!
