Visit Nong Khai, book a room at Silpasopa Hostel. I repeat, it is a hostel, not a hotel... I thought it would be ordinary, but it turned out to be "awesome". In addition to the cafe, the rooms here look good, spacious, and a bit like a boutique, decorated with pictures like a small gallery. Although the bathroom is shared, it is comfortable.
