Early spring red plum blossoms in Ningbo Zhongshan Park!

Ningbo Zhongshan Park is located on Jiefang North Road, Haishu District, Ningbo City, and is now part of Zhongshan Square. It was originally the site of the Ningbo Yamen. In the spring of 1927, on the second anniversary of the death of Sun Yat-sen, someone proposed to build a Zhongshan Park in memory of Sun Yat-sen, which was immediately supported by people from all walks of life in Ningbo. The park is located in the area of the old Daoshu, Houle Garden, and Fuhou Mountain, covering an area of about 60 acres, and construction began in the summer of that year. After more than two years of effort and a cost of more than 110,000 yuan, the park was completed in the fall of 1929. A total of 21 houses, 4 pavilions, 2 archways, 3 corridors, and 5 bridges were built. Among them, Duxiu Mountain is a relic of the Ming Dynasty, and Zunjing Pavilion was relocated from Ningbo Prefecture. In the past two days, wintersweet and plum blossoms have bloomed in Zhongshan Park, and the fragrance is overwhelming!
