If you can't make it to Mount Putuo, come to Xiaoputuo at Dongqian Lake in Ningbo!

🌈 On a sunny weekend, I came to Dongqian Lake, the backyard of Ningbo, again. I walked along the path in Limin Village to Xiaoputuo, strolled on Taogong Dike in the evening breeze, and prayed for a joyful and peaceful year at Xiayu Temple! 📍Address: Xiaoputuo Scenic Area, Dongqian Lake, Yinzhou District, Ningbo 🚗Transportation: Drive to Xiaoputuo Parking Lot, or take Metro Line 4 to Dongqian Lake Station and transfer to Bus 901, 907, or Xiaoputuo Tourist Line 🚤Boat: Take a boat from Hubin Wharf to Xiaoputuo, CNY 60/person 🍀Admission: Free 🕓Opening hours: 7:00–19:00 ✅Tour route: Scenic area entrance (sightseeing bus CNY 10) ➡️ Huxin Dike ➡️ Yuebo Book House ➡️ Water Guanyin (sightseeing bus and boat stop) ➡️ Xiayu Temple ➡️ Yuanrong Square ➡️ Return or go to Qianhu Secret Land (sightseeing bus CNY 15, passing Erlin Temple, tickets can be purchased by stop) ✅Recommended attractions: 1⃣Water Guanyin: You can only pray with flowers now. 2⃣Xiayu Temple: Be sure to visit the Guanyin Cave inside. 3⃣Yuanrong Square: There are performances on holidays, and the Qianhu Secret Land sightseeing bus stop is here. 🈶Food: Qianhu Three Treasures (snails, lake shrimps, and fish), qingtuan, and mochi ✅Citywalk: Xiaoputuo ➡️ Limin Village ➡️ Academician Center ➡️ Taolu in Jianshe Village ➡️ Xiaoputuo (you can walk around the village along the path) 🔥Nearby attractions: Taogong Island, Limin Village, Jianshe Village, Ningbo Academician Center, Qianhu Secret Land, Erlin Temple, Xiaoshui Wetland, Mashan Wetland, Hanling Old Street, Fuquan Mountain, Ningbo Zoo 🌸Tips: Xiaoputuo is crowded on holidays, and you may be asked to park at Taolu Parking Lot in Jianshe Village.
