[Environment] This Park Hyatt is in the form of a resort, located next to Dongqian Lake. The hotel was transformed from an ancient village. The gray walls and sand tiles echo the triangular gable roofs. The buildings and the soft garden waterside pavilions set off each other, and the environment is really good. It feels like there aren't a lot of people in the hotel and the hotel is quite large, so the overall environment gives me a sense of tranquility. When I get up in the morning, I walk along the lake to the restaurant for breakfast and feel very relaxed. - 【Stay Experience】 -Room🏠: We stayed in the courtyard suite, which has a small courtyard and a bathtub. The staff also specially sent bathrobes and welcome fruits upon check-in. The fruits were quite fresh and sweet. The design style of the entire interior is classical Chinese, creating a modern Chinese style with simple tones and natural materials. In terms of space design, it has not become outdated after all these years, but traces of renovation can be seen in the details. -Breakfast🥐: On the first floor of the main building of the hotel, the breakfast tastes okay but the variety is average. -Service🤵🏻‍♀️: The service of the front desk and hotel staff is very professional. Because we live in a courtyard suite, which is far from the hotel lobby, the hotel will send a shuttle bus. The sightseeing bus is dispatched in a timely manner, and the staff will also guide us enthusiastically. The experience is great. -Activities⛵: The hotel has many special activities. When checking in in the afternoon, there were two Kunqu NPCs walking in the lobby, which felt quite novel; there were Kunqu performances in the evening, each lasting about 30 minutes, with three Kunqu actors taking turns to perform, and each person would sing for about 10 minutes. If you want to go, you can ask the front desk about the performance time; the hotel also provides sightseeing boats on Dongqian Lake, which need to be booked one day in advance. There is only one boat a day on weekdays and two boats a day on weekends. The tour time is about 1 hour. - 【Popular attractions nearby】 1️⃣Academician Center 2️⃣Limin Village 3️⃣Xiao Putuo 4️⃣Hanling Old Street - [One-day hiking guide] Walk 1.6 kilometers from the hotel to Ningbo Academician Center, stroll around the center, and take photos at the popular tree in the center; go down the mountain from the center toward Dongqian Lake and pass through the village; arrive at the Xiaoputuo Scenic Area Visitor Center and walk into the Xiaoputuo Causeway from the west gate. The causeway is about 2 kilometers long and the lake views on both sides are beautiful. It is very relaxing to walk while enjoying the views; come out of Xiaoputuo and arrive at Yuanrong Square, then walk along the lake to Hanling Old Street, which takes about 4.2 kilometers. If you are tired from walking in the previous section and cannot walk this section, you can also choose to take a taxi to Hanling Old Street. ⚠️Note: If you want to have lunch in Hanling Old Street during your morning hike, be sure to check the time.
