A little-known village, Qixiakeng Village.

Qixiakeng Village is located in Xikou, Fenghua, near Ningbo, in the Siming Mountains. It is an ancient village with a history of over 1,000 years, with picturesque scenery. The mountain road winds into this quiet ancient village, with small bridges and flowing water, lush bamboo forests, high walls, majestic horsehead walls, and wooden pavilions, all exuding the charm of ancient architecture. 🏠 Runzhuang: The village is long and narrow, built along the stream. Runzhuang at the entrance of the village is the oldest building in the village, dating back to the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. This building was the former residence of Wang Enpu, a sworn brother of the Jiang family in the countryside, called "Runzhuang." Villagers also call it "Qiachangmen." It is now the best-preserved ancient building in the village. Runzhuang is a typical Jiangnan-style courtyard, with a tall gatehouse, two-story buildings in a row, exquisite brick carvings, and vivid wood carvings. 🌈 Changan Bridge: You can see this bridge along the stream. It is an ancient bridge built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, 270 years ago. It has been renovated several times and is also known as the Happiness Bridge. There are ancient camphor trees planted at the bridgehead, creating a beautiful scene. 🌲 Qixia Ancient Path: Qixiakeng Village has become famous in recent years for the Qixia Ancient Path, a great place for hiking in the outdoor circle, and one of the top ten most beautiful ancient paths in Fenghua, as well as the most beautiful forest ancient path in Ningbo. Those with good physical strength can try it. Recommended routes: 1. Qixiakeng Village - Tangtian Village - Hutian Village 2. Dong Village - Siming Bridge - Youzhuping - Qixiakeng - Siming Bridge - Dong Village 🌱 Surroundings: 3. Siming Mountain: Zhejiang's Akina Mountain, with many hairpin turns, is the best choice for self-driving mountain tours. It has a high altitude, beautiful scenery, and several viewing platforms. 4. Siming Lake: See the water cypresses. 🚘 Transportation: Self-driving: The best way is naturally to drive yourself. It takes 20 minutes from Xikou and 1.5 hours from Ningbo. Bus: There are also buses to and from Xikou, Route 571-1, with scheduled departures.
