The village of South France is bathed in art and sunshine

🌈South France is like a fairy tale. Before going there, I thought that medieval towns were mostly similar. After going there, I realized that each has its own beauty, and Saint Paul is the intersection of time and art. 🌟St-Paul de Vence, Saint Paul de Vence, is a "small" place. It is 20 kilometers away from the center of Nice, built on a hill, with buildings distributed along the slope, with a well-arranged layout, and small roads crisscrossing. We got lost in it several times. Thanks to that half-day aimless "detour", we were able to discover the hidden beauty of the town. Saint Paul was once a military stronghold in the Middle Ages. In the 19th century, it was favored by artists—Picasso frequented it, Matisse lived here for five years, Chagall lived here for more than 20 years and was buried here, and there were also writers and performing arts celebrities living here for creative inspiration. The town now seems to focus on art, with handicraft workshops, studios and galleries everywhere. The windows display imaginative paintings. Walking among them, it seems like being in an open-air art gallery. Stop every two steps and can't help but buy a painting to take away. The tourism development of Saint Paul is very good. The terrace restaurant overlooks the mountain view. There is a fountain square in the town center. The centuries-old fountain is well preserved, but it can no longer be used. However, everyone still takes it as the center and sits comfortably around the pool. There are ice cream shops and nougat shops nearby, and the handsome guy is offering cheese for everyone to taste. 💐The whole town is full of flowers, the macaron-colored houses reflect the warm sunshine of South France, looking far away from the alleys in the mountains, the view is wide, the old buildings and churches, and there are many historical sites to visit. Next time I must live in such a beautiful town, it feels super comfortable and cozy~
