American Museum of Natural History

The American Museum of Natural History is one of the largest natural history museums in the world and one of the main natural history research and education centers in the United States. The museum was founded in 1869 and covers an area of more than 7 hectares. The museum, along with the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the United Nations Headquarters, is known as the intersection of the past and future of humanity and the earth. The first two look back at the past of humanity and the earth, while the latter depicts and envisions the future of humanity and the earth.
