9/11 Memorial & Museum

#newyorktrip The entire memorial and museum was extremely emotional. It was very surreal seeing the reflection pools and having a chance to read the names of those lost. I was very impressed with how well some of the equipment (damaged on 9/11) was maintained and preserved. Definitely plan a few hours to truly spend in the museum to make your time worth. And pack your patience. There were so many people everywhere!

Getting There - 9 Attractions - 10 Hotels - 10 Food & Restaurants - 9 Shopping - 10 This was an impressive and yet heavy experience. The entire exhibition was the timeline of how four airplanes got hijacked and how the government and the public responded in the most horrific moment in US history. The museum would take you an entire day to go through if you want to read everything, which is highly recommended. Outside of the museum, there are two fountains that were built on the collapsed buildings during the attack. There are tons of shops and hotels nearby, and it's easy to get to by buses and subways. There are limited parking spots if you choose to go there by car.
