The statue seen from the island is surprisingly far away 😅 Thanks to the pedestal admission, I was able to see the goddess up close, and at the closest spot, you can't even see her face, so it was very impressive ✨ I bought the ticket with pedestal admission on the official website 5 days before the visit, taking into account the weather forecast and my schedule. (The crown admission is already sold out) When you land on Liberty Island, don't turn right right immediately, but go straight ahead. Otherwise, you won't be able to reach the free audio guide (Japanese available) rental booth. I made a perfect right turn and found this booth on my way home, but it was too late 🙈 Following the road, there was a stylish building with a cafe attached, and anyone can enter this museum ☝️ If you have a pedestal or crown admission ticket, there is a special entrance on the left side of the Statue of Liberty, and only those with the corresponding ticket can enter from here ⚠️ Also, large luggage is not allowed, so please leave it in the locker opposite before entering. After passing through security and entering the building directly below the statue, you can go up by elevator or stairs, but there is also an exhibition corner on the ground floor that introduces American immigrant culture 🔍 There were interesting exhibits such as caricatures and art with the Statue as a motif, and corporate advertising, so it was quite fun 😀 From the pedestal, you can see Manhattan, Ellis Island, and more, and since the number of people allowed in is limited, there was plenty of time to take photos, which was great 🤳 See the real thing with your own eyes.
