In the past, gold mining was active here, and the reason why the water in the waterfall is golden is due to the mining activities in this area. When the iron and sulfur components in the groundwater meet with oxygen, they oxidize, and the water takes on a unique color that looks like gold!! The sight of the water flowing gently like a painting is one of the attractions that many tourists visit. However, the day I visited was cloudy and rainy, so the sparkling golden color in the photo was not as vivid as I expected. However, thanks to the rain, the atmosphere felt more mysterious, and I was able to experience a different charm in the moist air~😆 The Golden Waterfall creates an even more impressive landscape in contrast to the surrounding green mountains. But maybe because of the cloudy weather and rain, the water color looked a little darker than usual. Still, the sight of the golden water flowing gently was still beautiful~👍 Thanks to the rain, there weren't many tourists, so it was nice that I could quietly enjoy the waterfall. And the air was clear and cool, so I felt refreshed. However, I felt that it would be good to wear non-slip shoes because the floor can be slippery on rainy days!!
