Ranhou is a coffee shop located in "Shanao", which is unique in the bustling Sandiao Ridge. While other coffee shops are crowded with hikers and tourists, here is an independent existence. Ranhou is only open on Saturdays. Due to the reservation system, it is separated from the hustle and bustle outside by several floor-to-ceiling windows. The site, which was originally a miners' dormitory, has been taken care of extremely well by the managers. The mottled old walls and the plants in the gaps, under the light and shadow cast by the sloping roof and glass windows, nakedly show its original appearance. The open backyard also has a picnic kitchen and a stunning toilet. Every detail is amazing. Let me share a little tip: If you take the train to Sandiaoling, it is recommended to make a reservation at 11 a.m. Not only can you get just the right amount of time from getting off the bus to walking, but you can also stay there for a full two hours.
