Cat Village - Houtong near Taipei 🐈 🐱 🐈‍⬛

Houtong has attracted attention from all over Taiwan and even got featured on CNN, dubbed as the “Cats Village”. It’s very easy to get there - trains run from Taipei Station every hour and arrive directly at Houtong in about 45-55 minutes And once you stepped out of Houtong station, you will feel it’s nostalgia and presence of the meow members right away. Cats are literally everywhere! The cats here are used to tourists oohing and aahing at them, or even getting treats from them - but do follow the rules which are shown almost everywhere to make sure cats are not harmed in any way. Don’t miss the cats cafes and restaurants, or the cats souvenir shops that are mostly located on the other side of the station. You will get there by walking on the footbridge especially designated to be friendly to cats too.
