Highest point in Vietnam — Mt Fansipan

Mt Fansipan is located at Lao Cai province in Sapa. In order to get there, we took an overnight sleeper bus from Hanoi to Sapa and arrived the next morning. We visited in December so it was rather chilly in Sapa (though it might also be due to the higher elevation). In order to get to the peak of Fansipan, we took a cable car up and started a climb from there. Temperature up there might drop close to 0 degree Celsius. It’s a rather manageable climb I would say, mostly just stairs. Outdoor lovers can put this place into your travel itinerary when planning a visit to Vietnam!
