Shikoku Pilgrimage + Seto Inland Sea Cycling Tour

DAY 3: In addition to walking around the streets of Shikoku, many people also come to ride bicycles around Shikoku. The starting point of the 1,200-kilometer highway is at the Magosaki Observatory. Since the purpose of this trip is not only to make a pilgrimage to the 108 temples in Shikoku (88 main temples + 20 other temples), but also to ride bicycles around Shikoku, it is inevitable that they must come here to check in and take photos. The Onaruto Bridge Whirlpool Road is one of the three major tidal currents in the world. The famous whirlpool is formed when the tide rises and falls in the Onaruto Strait. The Whirlpool Road is a sea promenade built inside the Onaruto Bridge over the Onaruto Strait. It is 450 meters long. It is extremely exciting to watch the Onaruto Whirlpool from the 45-meter-high glass floor. On the way back, I passed Tokushima Central Park and was attracted by the entire field of blooming Hachisuka cherry trees. Many Japanese people gathered together under the trees with their friends, bringing sake and seasonal sakura mochi, to drink and enjoy the flowers. Life is short, and should be like cherry blossoms, blooming beautifully while alive and withering away when gone.
