The highlight of Narita Omotesando! Walk to the end and you will reach Narita Shinshoji Temple⛩️

#Naritasan Shinshoji Temple #Narita Omotesando #Cat I came to Narita to stay for one night before returning to Taiwan. The only thing I’m going to do this afternoon is to visit #成田新生寺 which I haven’t been to for a long time. I used to think that Narita Omotesando was a short section, but after checking the map and walking carefully, I didn’t expect it to be so long. After seeing a lighthouse that looks like a foreign port (actually a fire station), there is a downhill road. Remember to take the one on the right. When the road is flat at the bottom, Narita Shinshoji Temple is on the left. I used to think it was just a small temple, but I didn’t expect it to have Japanese-style landscaping and courtyards. Although I arrived around six o’clock and there were not many people there at that time, the magnificent aura of the temple still amazed me. But ancient temples seemed to test the strength of legs and will of the worshippers. In addition to walking along the long Narita Omotesando, you also have to climb several flights of stairs to reach the main hall. After washing your hands and saluting, there is an incense burner in the square after climbing up the stairs. You can feel the warmth of the incense if you get close. The Leifeng Pagoda on the right and the Myotowa Garden on the left (with Narita's unique ema on it) are majestic but make people feel relaxed instantly. What’s even more surprising is that there are many cute kittens around the temple! The solemn atmosphere has a warm feeling. I am glad that I took advantage of a little time to visit the temple and pay my respects, otherwise I would not have been able to fully appreciate the characteristics of Narita after coming here so many times. People say good wine sinks to the bottom of the jar, and it was only when I arrived at Xinsheng Temple that I discovered how magnificent it was. I highly recommend you to visit this place when you come to Narita or when you are planning to go back! 2023.08.30
