Saryo Sese (Tea Dormitory Sese) Little Afternoon Tea Set

#Emotional Cafe I first encountered Chagisuksa Afternoon Tea. I think it's pronounced as 茶寮 (saryo). It's similar to the commonly known 喫茶店 (kisaten) or 茶房 (sabo) teahouses, but it's said to be a place like the mother of teahouses because it also serves food. According to Wiki Sensei, Saryo is divided into teahouses (specializing in Japanese tea), teahouses (specializing in Western-style tea), restaurants (sake and geisha), and kaiseki (course meals). Maybe that's why everyone took off their shoes before entering. Lunch here is around 10,000 yen, and dinner starts at 10,000-30,000 yen, but afternoon tea is available for under 4,000 yen. It's located between Nara's famous Todaiji and Kofukuji. The Nara National Museum is across the street. It is located in a place where it seems like it would be no problem for the deer, the masters of the country, to roam the open front yard without any doors. You take off your shoes and enter the wooden building as if you were climbing a Kyoto shrine or a Japanese castle tower. As you walk further inside, you will come across a space for feeding. This place also has a lush, panoramic garden view. Since it is a space inside a building with a fence where the general public can move, you can see people taking pictures. This place is also a place that would be amazing during the fall foliage season. The small afternoon tea consists of four kinds of desserts. The main dish here is Nara's Yamato tea, which is served as a nomihodai, so it seems simple. However, these four are very delicious. Among the Japanese confectionery, the seasonal confectionery called jo-na-maga-shi, which is said to be eaten by the emperor, is luxurious and delicious. The matcha terrine feels like a harmony of France and Japan. Rice canelé meets Chantilly cream, adding softness and sweetness to the outside and inside. Here, anmitsu, which symbolizes Japanese summer, adds seasonal fruits to decorate the finale. It was a moment when I could feel that the little one was strong and tough. The red beans were from another world, the texture of the squid was crazy, and the sweet potato ice cream balanced it out, creating an ensemble of seasonal fruits and rice cakes. The champagne that came with it also goes well with it. It's fantastic. The deep flavor of Yamato tea awakened the breath of Nara. Since it's a space with a kissatendo, the foam of the cappuccino makes you feel like you can hear the inside of Nara. As I enjoyed the view, 90 minutes flew by.
