It's a place that calms the mind

Naoshima is a small island in Shikoku, Japan, with a population of less than 4,000. It is located north of Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, near Tamano City. It is a main venue of the Setouchi Triennale, with multiple museums and home projects, as well as famous artworks such as Yayoi Kusama's Red Pumpkin and Soichiro Fujimoto's Naoshima Violin. The Benesse Corporation on Naoshima hosts the 'Benesse Art Site Naoshima' art event. It is often said that Naoshima is the island of architect Tadao Ando, and this area is full of his buildings that carry the diverse characters of artists.
