The severely underestimated city in Jiangsu: Nantong

Nantong can be said to be a severely underestimated city in Jiangsu. Here, there is a mountain, a river, a person, and a city. This time we didn't go to that mountain, but we experienced the people and the city by the water. The scenery on both sides of the Hao River is endless. Although it is not as elegant as the gardens in Suzhou on the opposite bank, it is not lacking in charm. The Hao River in Nantong is one of the most well-preserved ancient moats in China. It is recorded in the history that in the fifth year of Xian De of the Later Zhou Dynasty (AD 958), the five pavilions of 'Long Rainbow, Moon Viewing, Fish Joy, Hao Pu, and Xun Wind' floated on the blue waves, dreamlike. Located on the bank of the Hao River is the first public museum independently established by the Chinese, the first batch of national first-class museums, and the national AAAAA-level tourist attraction, founded by Zhang Jian, a pioneer of early modernization in China and a scholar in the late Qing Dynasty. The museum has long-term exhibitions on Mr. Zhang Jian's integrity thought, and currently there is a Nantong furniture making skills exhibition on display. In addition to this, I am more interested in the Jianghai Cetacean Biological Resources Special Exhibition Hall.
