Visit Nanning International Garden Expo Park and experience exotic customs.

The main area of Nanning International Garden Expo Park was originally a typical hilly landscape of Lingnan. It consisted of 18 hills, 16 abandoned quarries, and several water bodies such as the Nazun River in the north, Qingshui Spring in the middle, and the southern mining pit, as well as small villages. The design concept was "do not push mountains, do not fill lakes, and preserve the existing vegetation," aiming to protect and sort out the existing landscape and maintain 43.4% of the original natural scenery. Through local architecture, ethnic customs, ethnic activities, regional plants, and cultural relics displays, the park showcases the cultural characteristics of Zhuang Township, Nanning, Southeast Asia, and countries along the "Belt and Road." After careful design and renovation, it has now become a charming garden scenic spot. The Garden Expo Park has six themed exhibition gardens: Chinese City Garden, Guangxi Garden, ASEAN Garden, Silk Road Garden, Designer Garden, and Enterprise Garden. There are 44 exhibition gardens in the Chinese City Garden, each with its own unique characteristics, showcasing the garden culture and architectural styles of different regions. The ASEAN Garden brings together the essence of gardens from 10 ASEAN countries, allowing visitors to experience the garden styles of ASEAN at once. The ticket price is 35 yuan. The Garden Expo Park is large and far from downtown Nanning. It takes about 2 hours to get there by bus. If you plan to visit the entire park, it may take a whole day. During the Lunar New Year, many areas are closed off due to the fireworks show in the evening. If it rains, there is no shelter in the park, no seats to rest, and dining is inconvenient.
