Nanning Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area is a national 5A-level scenic area located in Qingxiu District, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It covers an area of ​​13.54 square kilometers, which is very large. There are more than 50 scenic spots of different styles in the scenic area, including natural scenery, rare plants, historical and cultural sites. You can’t finish the tour in one day. The scenic area has different flowers blooming in patches all year round, giving people unexpected surprises. It is a great place to visit over and over again. This time we went directly to the east gate of the scenic area. We originally wanted to see the bougainvillea leaf garden near the east gate, but it seemed that the peak flowering period had passed, and there were not as many bougainvilleas as we had imagined. However, the bright red flowers were also very beautiful against the Mediterranean blue and white buildings. After the visit, I walked to the aquatic garden next to it. Unexpectedly, I was amazed by it. The Aquatic Garden is a new attraction opened in Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area in recent years. The combination of hundreds of varieties of flowers such as hollyhocks, large-flowered delphiniums, yellow ground hairwort, etc. is like an overturned oil painting palette, which is dazzling. Walking into the garden path, you will see a different scene with every step, and the birds flying and the grass growing, forming the most romantic oil paintings. On the east side of the garden, there is also a newly opened Monet Garden. It is based on the prototype of Monet's garden in Giverny, Monet's former residence, and was inspired by his Water Lilies series of paintings. A green arch bridge similar to Monet's former residence was built on site. Surrounding it are various varieties of water lilies, more than ten kinds of aquatic plants such as aquatic irises, pink cannas, and variegated reeds, recreating the beautiful scenes depicted by Monet. Visitors will feel as if they are in a garden in an oil painting, traveling through time and space and having a conversation with the master. When I came to the garden, I felt like I didn’t want to leave. Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area is divided into West Gate, North Gate and East Gate. There are sightseeing electric cars and small trains at the gates according to the attractions tourists want to visit. There are different stops in the scenic area where tourists can get on and off. Electric car 5 yuan/person, train 10 yuan/person, one way. The Leaf Garden, Aquatic Garden, Cherry Blossom Garden, etc. are close to the East Gate. There are also many buses in the city that go to the west gate, east gate, south gate, north gate of the scenic area, and get off at Qingxiushan Station. It is also very convenient to drive yourself or take a taxi online. You need to take a small train from the West Gate to the Leaf Garden, Water Garden and other attractions at the East Gate. If you only want to visit the East Gate scenic area, it is recommended that you take the bus directly to the East Gate and get off.
