Colorful Huaiyang cuisine

Nanjing has always been one of the best cities in my mind, and every time I come I am deeply attracted by the night scenery, antique architecture and food by the Qinhuai River. This time, I specially chose to stop at the Qinhuai Junting Hotel (Grand Theater Store) at the Confucius Temple. It's so beautiful that I have no friends. It's a ten-minute walk around the Confucius Temple and the Qinhuai River. There are many restaurants and small shops. You can also feel the fireworks of old Nanjing at night! If you want to experience authentic Nanjing, remember to note the following itinerary and restaurant recommendations ~ Attractions + Food Recommended Routes First of all, the hotel is in a great location. Nanjing Confucius Temple Night Park Qinhuai Junting Hotel (Grand Theater Store) is located at 80 Gongyuan Street, basically get off the building to enter the most authentic Nanjing life rhythm. The hotel itself is full of classical charm, spacious and elegantly decorated, many room types are equipped with large beds and sofas, especially suitable for traveling with friends or families. 📍Hotel surroundings quite recommended 1. Confucius Temple and Qinhuai River Walk out of the hotel and you will see the Confucius Temple. At night, there is a sense of crossing by the Qinhuai River. It is great for taking pictures or walking! It is recommended to go in the evening, the lanterns light up under the sunset, and slowly feel the romantic atmosphere of Nanjing. 2. Laomen East Historical and Cultural District Fifteen minutes walk away, there are many intangible cultural heritage snack shops and teahouses, making it a great place to taste authentic snacks (such as duck blood vermicelli soup). Stroll around different alleys, and buy some Nanjing specialties from souvenir shops. 3. Dabaoen Temple Ruins Park Easily accessible by subway, the historical vibe combines with modern design, and you can take part in the night light show (open during some hours) while enjoying a quiet tour. 🍽️ Can't miss Nanjing flavor! I tried a lot of authentic Nanjing cuisine on this trip. My favorite is the crab-yellow steamed buns - they burst with juice and crab flavor! There are also crab noodle noodles, squirrel fish, sweet and sour ribs, pot rice with eel paste, and osmanthus fermented rice balls. Each dessert is eye-catching and distinctive. Here are the must-eat restaurants I’ve tried to recommend: ✨Jinling Kitchen: Focus on specialty local dishes, friendly environment, high value for money ✨ Ming Dynasty: Authentic dishes, suitable for friends who want to try a variety of traditional dishes ✨Nanjing Tai Pai Dang: rich in a variety of authentic snacks, lively and civilian ✨ Little Chef Huai Yang Cuisine: Warm environment, fine dishes, star menu recommendations The hotel breakfast buffet is also worth mentioning! There are many choices, a combination of Chinese and Western, and the environment by the window is excellent. After eating, you will have the energy to continue your tour of Nanjing. Warm Tips - Confucius Temple will be more crowded at night, remember to leave early if you want to take pictures. - If sensitive to sound, it is recommended to book a higher floor or corner room type, as some rooms are generally soundproofed. - If you plan to walk more to other attractions, the nearby subway station exit tens of meters away, travel is really extremely convenient. Nanjing not only preserves the heritage of the ancient capital, but also has many trendy food photo spots, which is especially suitable for young people, foodies, parents and even girlfriends! As long as you live around the Confucius Temple, you basically don't have to worry about transportation. You can walk and take the subway. Maybe you will fall in love with this city with a story. #NanjingFood #Fuzi Temple Accommodation #Night Parking in Qinhuai #Travel Notes #Itinerary Recommendation #Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum #Deji Square Toilet #Ancient Chicken Singing Temple #Nanjing Wall
