Jiming Temple (雞鳴寺)

📍Nanjing ✨ On this trip to Nanjing, we visited Jiming Temple, one of the oldest and most renowned temples in the city. Located on a hill near Xuanwu Lake, the temple offers a panoramic view of both nature and the city. The atmosphere is serene, peaceful, and carries an energy that makes you feel deeply relaxed. ✨ The temple features traditional Chinese architecture, with red walls contrasting against ancient gray-tiled roofs. It is surrounded by large, decades-old trees that provide shade along the pathways. In some areas, the sound of birds and the rustling of leaves in the wind add to the tranquil ambiance. ✨ During spring, the temple is adorned with cherry blossoms blooming along both sides of the path, especially near the entrance. Walking through feels like passing through a natural flower tunnel.
