I particularly like the huge mural of the Twelve Beauties of Jinling in the lobby, which is very Nanjing-style. 🚕Transportation: The hotel is only a 5-minute walk from Xinjiekou Station of Metro Line 1 and Line 2, and it is convenient to visit attractions such as Confucius Temple and Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. It takes about 15 minutes by taxi to Nanjing Station and about 25 minutes to Nanjing South Station. There is also a bus stop in front of the hotel, providing a variety of travel options. 💰Reasons for selection: As an established five-star hotel in Nanjing, Jinling Hotel's service and quality are guaranteed. This time I stayed here mainly because of its historical heritage and reputation, and I was also given two breakfasts for free when I booked through a certain platform, which was very cost-effective. 🛌About the hotel: 1⃣The room is fully equipped with comfortable bedding. Although the decoration style is traditional, it is well maintained and does not feel outdated. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the amenities are L'Occitane, which is very thoughtful. 2⃣Breakfast is at Xuan Gong Restaurant on the 38th floor. There are rich varieties of food, including Nanjing specialties such as duck blood vermicelli soup, as well as Western meals. You can also enjoy a bird's eye view of the city while eating. 3⃣The service staff is enthusiastic and proactive in helping with luggage when checking in. The front desk is efficient and responds quickly to requests. 🏙Guide to nearby tourist attractions: The hotel is a 10-minute walk to Deji Plaza, where shopping and food are available. The nearby Xinjiekou business district is the most prosperous area in Nanjing, and you can go shopping there at night. It is about 3 kilometers away from Confucius Temple and 10 minutes by taxi. It is recommended to go in the evening as the night view is beautiful. The distance between Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum is a little far, about 8 kilometers, but they are directly accessible by Metro Line 2, so it is suitable to arrange a half-day visit. If you have enough time, you can also visit the nearby Presidential Palace and Nanjing Museum to experience Nanjing’s history and culture.
